The fair showcases the Samal’s local-made products with product prices ranging from P20 to P500 while its beneficiaries were composed of mostly women who made the products for the love their families.
“Having this activity will surely help them to earn more while taking care of their family”, said Lludeza M. Quesada, Development Management Officer III.
She added that all the exhibitors had undergone capacity development, good manufacturing practices and product development. The labeling, entrepreneurial and all products were registered by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
“It was nice to see that we have more improved product packaging now as it was enhanced in coordination with DTI”, said Ms. Cristita M. Bulay, President of the Hugpong Manggagama sa Isla (HUGMAI).
“This expands our market coverage and escalated our sales, proving an effective promotional strategy,” she added.
She emphasized that the realization of Pasalubong Center or Training Center will give the group an easy access to their potential and existing clients.
